Don’t you just love a matching set? Luckily I had just enough yarn left over from making my icicles baby hat to make these cute booties.
The heel/ankle part are worked in blossom stitch (the same as the main body of the hat) so you can also vary this one by changing the colours and applique depending on the season.
The pattern makes 7.5cm long booties (new-born size).

Materials:
For the booties:
- 25m main colour (I used Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk DK in Button)
- 25m white DK yarn
- Size 4mm hook
For the Snowflake:
- I used 3 strands of my white dk yarn made by unravelling the twist of about 24 inches of yarn. Alternately, use a matching lace weight yarn or crochet thread.
- Size 2mm hook
