Just Ticking Along

I seem to be short of that universally in demand resource at the moment: time.  Those of you that follow lots of blogs will know that bloggers take breaks for many reasons, which pretty much always boil down to a lack of a particular resource – inspiration, creativity, productivity.  But most often it’s because of…

Merry Christmas! And Best of 2014

Merry Christmas to you all! I do hope you are all enjoying the holiday season.  Especially if you have been crafting and crocheting away to get those gifts done on time! Christmas and New Year are often a season for summing up, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to reflect on the year in…

Before and After

Extreme Lengths

How’s this for a before and after? I realise getting a haircut isn’t so much me getting creative as my hairdresser getting creative, but I thought I’d share this for a special reason. A few years ago a friend of mine lost her hair to alopecia. This is a condition whereby people can lose up…

Inherited Stash

It's official, I have business cards! How do you like them?

MMDC is changing!

If you’ve been paying close attention recently you will see that my blog is evolving.  I have had to make a few changes. I love blogging and want to keep doing it, so recently I have been having a think about how it can make a bit of money to start covering my materials costs…

Holiday Inspiration

I’m back!  I had a lovely holiday and found lots of things to inspire me craft-wise. We went to Northumberland and stayed just outside Alnwick.  Lots of sun, walking, countryside, castles, and wildlife.  Not to mention my great family (who polished off my blueberry muffins and banana and chocolate chip slice in 2 days flat)!…

Liebster Award

I’m lucky to have been nominated for a Liebster Award which is for blogs with less than 200 followers.  I got nominated twice by two of my favourite blogs – applepiezucchini and LoverlyShe.  This is a great compliment to me because both blogs these are quite different.  The first is about food and cooking, and…
